STEP 1:

It's always important to begin with a clean surface.  Begin by prepping your surface with soapy water to remove any dirt and grime that may be on the surface.  You can use isopropyl alcohol to help get rid of any sticky residue.  Ensure your surface is dry before beginning.

STEP 2:

​

Position your graphics and tape into place using a strip of tape to act as a centre hinge.

​

STEP 3:

​

Peel the graphics back to your centre hinge and cut the wax backing off.

​

STEP 4:

​

Starting from the centre, slowly apply the graphics to the surface using a squeegee or credit card.  Be sure to work your way from the centre out in small strokes, taking "little bites" along the way.

STEP 5:

​

Remove the centre hinge and peel the remaining wax backing from the inside out.

​

STEP 6:

​

Repeat step 4, ensuring you work your way from the centre out.

​

STEP 7:

​

Carefully and slowly, remove the transfer tape from your graphics.  If one of your graphics should lift with the transfer tape, simply go over it again with your squeegee or credit card.

STEP 8:

​

Should there be any little air bubbles caught up in your graphics, pop them with a pin and use your finger to work them out.  It can be helpful to go over the vinyl with a heat gun or hair dryer to help eliminate the air bubbles after popping.  Be cautious not to overheat the graphics during this process to prevent any damage to your vinyl.

STEP 9:

If your graphics came with any registration marks, remove and discard.

​

STEP 10:

​

Step back and admire your graphics, you did it!
